INTRO – The Start of it All
Trunks sat behind his desk in the main office of Capsule Corporation head resting on folded arms. Sighing heavily he looked up as the door opened. A small fourteen-year-old girl with raven-colored hair stood there.
"Hey Pan. What’s up?"
"Nothing, just coming to see what you were up to. When are you getting off work?" she walked over behind the desk and planted a kiss on his soft lips.
"Whenever I want. I’m the boss, remember?" he grinned and stood up, following the small girl out of the office.
They walked down the sidewalk in the shopping district of Satan City. Trunks’ eyes nearly bugged out of his head as he saw one of his ex-girlfriends heading towards them. He grabbed the window-shopping Pan by the arm and pulled her into the nearest store. Sighing with relief, he looked over at the young girl, who was staring at him like he was insane.
"What was that all about?" she asked, hands on her hips.
"Uhh…I saw Miriah, one of my ex’s that I can't stand. I didn’t want to have to talk to her…" He slowly trailed off as he recognized a young woman in between the rows of clothes in the medium sized boutique. He tried not to look panicked when he caught a glimpse of the person trailing her, stuck carrying her packages.
"Oh." She said, turning around to see what he was staring at. Recognizing the couple as well, she ran over to them, smiling.
"Hey, Bianca, hey Uncle Goten!" she said brightly.
"Well, hello there Pan." Bianca said smiling down at her. "Haven’t seen you in a while."
Goten poked his head out from behind the ton of packages he was carrying, "Hi Pan-chan, how’s it goin’?"
"Pretty good. My boyfriend and me are just wandering around. Hey! I just thought of something. Bianca’s met Trunks, but you haven’t Uncle Goten. Here, I’ll go get him." She turned and ran off before either could reply.
Ohh, man, this is not good. He hid his terrified look behind the boxes in his arms. How am I supposed to get myself out of meeting him this time? He stood behind his girlfriend as she paid for her purchases, piling them on the rest of the stack in the young man’s arms. He sighed in relief when a confused Pan came back alone.
"I don’t get it. He was just there. I don’t know where he went."
"Sorry, little bit, I guess I’ll have to meet him some other time. Come on, Binky-chan, I wanna put some of this stuff in the air car. I can’t feel my arms anymore!" he said with a laugh.
"Alright, Goten, sweet. We’ll see you later, Pan." The two strolled out of the store and down the street, leaving a still confused Pan standing there.
She turned and glared when a familiar ki walked up behind her. "Where have you been? I went to go find you so you could finally meet my uncle, and you were no where to be found!"
He smiled at her sheepishly, "Sorry, Pan-chan, nature called, I had to answer."
She couldn’t help but smile at him. "You’re forgiven."
His smile brightened, "Come on, let’s go to dinner tonight."
"Sounds great!" she said brightly as they walked out onto the sidewalk once more.
